… A cool stone village house at the edge of Ansouis  …

A little slice of Ansouis history has gone into the creation of this village pied-à-terre.

“La Remise” was built on the base of a building attached to Ansouis’s ancient fortification wall on the outskirts of the village.

The old building was dismantled stone by stone and the case stones (which do not weigh more than 200kg) were preserved to rebuild this village house.

You can still see the lion emblem of Ansouis in the stone above the garage, and a stone-carved gargoyle to the right.

On the ground floor, an entrance hall leads to a large living room (with bar, tv, home cinema, wifi), a beautiful kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher and American fridge.

In addition to the double bedroom, on the mezzanine level there is a double bed, small office area and a sofa.

You also have a beautiful terrace with views of the hills, a plancha (flat-top griddle), a stone sink and a table for lunch.
